I got a call from Jim the other day and he was having trouble with all the tire kickers out there. You know the supposed people who just live to fill out forms on line just to waste a frustrated network marketers time and money.
These nuisances just have nothing better to do with their time so they just live to click on PPC ads fill out random forms so people can call them back and tell them everything under the sun about why their opportunity is better than every other biz op on the market.
Jim was really down so I listened as he rambled on.
“Freaken Tire kickers they make me so mad?”
“I hate them man… how do you deal with it?”
“I mean these people what are they thinking when they fill out my form.”
“Don’t they know their costing me money?”
“I swear these frickin people I wish I could string them up.”
This went on and on until I just couldn’t take it anymore.
“Jim…”
“Jim… Are you listening to yourself?”
“Jim…STOP!”
“Jim…are you ready to hear the problem?”
Well Jim finally stopped for a moment, but before I could get started his rant went on.
‘I just don’t know how anyone can make any money with all these fricken tire kickers, slackers and deadbeats.”
“I don’t know Ken I think I’m just gonna through in the towel.”
The best part was Jim called me wanting me to join his latest greatest new biz op.
No Jim isn’t a friend of mine just someone who found my web page.
Another lost soul who wouldn’t even give me the chance to give him some friendly advice.
You see what Jim may never discover is there is no such thing as a tire kicker. It’s a myth created by those out there who won’t take the time to learn how this business really works. Like a fish in a sea of water unaware of the world around them. The Jim’s of the world will never realize the people he so quickly labels as tire kickers are doing what everyone does. Testing.
What Jim doesn’t understand is people are searching and when they find his web site they are searching for one thing, a leader. Let me ask you a simple question, do you think Jim is the guy that would teach you how to make money online? Or is Jim the guy who will collaborate with you in misery.
Everyone knows or has a friend that can find fault in anything. They simply hate life. They hate their job, they hate their family, they hate their car, their house even their dog. Some people have just become so accustom to being miserable that is all they know.
If you pay close attention you will discover the hidden secret behind becoming a successful marketer.
People want leadership. They want to know you are the one that has the answers. They don’t care about your website, you comp plan or your website. People will loiter about your marketing pieces and when they finally build up the courage, yes courage, to give you a call the test begins.
The Jim’s of the world quickly jump to the conclusion that people are just tire kicking looking around without intentions of changing their lives.

Jim is correct in one sense. People are just looking around. They are just looking around for someone who will help them. Someone who can teach them. Someone with the courage to tell them what they may not want to hear.
If you want people to stop kicking your tires start leading them.
Give them what they desperately want, a solution. Not an opportunity.
Teach them how your team will help them grow.
Teach them how you will help them earn an honest living.
Teach them how to market.
When you begin to focus on other people instead of your wallet they will stop kicking your tires. Sadly Jim didn’t give me a chance to explain this to him. So listen very closely to this last statement.
People will pay you based on how valuable you are to them. Nothing more, nothing less.
